Review:

Lately I've found it hard to find really good American foxtrots. This style of dancing requires a certain
style of music. As the trend has been going, the music needs more flare, blues and character. As
you listen to traditional foxtrots, they become much too linear in the music nuances that are
really required for American foxtrot. Thus, finding music that fits this unique style can be quite
difficult because there are not a lot of artists producing such music and those that did, have moved
on from this earthly estate, until now. I've found a young, upcoming vocalist that has such a promise
that the critics don't know where to put her. Her name is Renee Olstead. She has brought the old
standards and new music to a new level. Even though she can't be found on any "ballroom" CD
compilations, finding any one of her entire CD's is definitely worth it's weight for music to dance to.
Especially foxtrots!

Check her out and find a new artist that brings a fresh sound to a fresh style of dancing, American foxtrot!

Listen and be moved!
