Another artist that I would recommend for Renee enthusiasts would be Melody Gardot. This French singer has the same bluesy insight and lilt as Renee, and it shows in her current release "My One And Only Thrill".

I enjoyed seeing Melody in concert in Annapolis, Maryland recently. If you ever get the chance, go; she's very talented. It's an interesting story as to how she became a singer/guitarist after a serious bicycle accident left her with brain damage and other injuries - happily she's doing really well now. American though, not French. She's from Philadelphia.
